How to Grow in Consistency

ConsistencyI’m a believer of motivation. Everyone wants to be encouraged, enjoy and inspired.

The law of consistency, states that when it comes to growing motivation gets you going but discipline keeps you growing.

It does not matter how talented you are or how many opportunity you receive. To be consistence in your performance you need to be more discipline in your actions.

This can be done by knowing your what, how, why and when of your improvement. Take your time to consider the following questions about your improvement.

What do you need to improve?

You need to know where to direct your energy every morning when you get up so that you go to bed with satisfaction. Knowing where to direct that determination is your first step. It is not about mastering your job. No, it’s about mastering you.

Your future depends on your personal improvement. Improving yourself daily guarantees a future filled with possibilities. When you expand yourself you expand your horizon, option, opportunity and your potential.
I’m saying this out of experience.

I spent all my time perfecting my ability to do my job, I never would have grown. But because I focused on improving myself, I improve my focused from being too organized to entrepreneurial, this open my future.

The more you are tuned to your purpose the more dedicated you are to growing towards what you want, the better your chances of reaching your potential, expanding your possibilities and doing something significant for you.

How do you want to improve?

Success in most things comes not from gigantic stroke of fate but from simple incremental progress. People go wrong by consistently looking for big hit. Big hit never comes without a great deal of little hits first.
I know most people have problem with patience, they want everything fast.

Persian poet Saadi instructed: Have patience, all things are difficult before they become easy. Most people never realize how close they are to achieving success because they give up too soon. Remember that everything worthwhile in life takes dedication and time. So be patient.

Why do you want to improve?

Knowing what to improve and how to improve in your life are critical to consistency so is your why.

The how and what will take you only so far. The why is what keeps you motivated long after that rush of energy and enthusiasm wears off. Your why can carry you through when will power isn't enough.

Think of your why as a power. Having a strong why will help you keep going when the discipline becomes difficult, discouraging or tedious.

If your improvement is connected to your values, dreams and purpose, you’ll know why you are doing it. Your answer will motivate you to be consistent.

When do you need to improve?

ConsistenceYou will never change your life until you change something you do daily. That means developing great habits. Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment and that bridge must be crossed every day. Over time, that daily crossing becomes a habit.

And ultimately, people do not decide their future; they decide their habits and their habits decide their future.
So, what are you doing daily that needs to be changed?

What are you willing to change doing today in order to change what you will be doing tomorrow? In the end, hard work is really the accumulation of easy things you didn't do when you should have.

It’s like daily marketing task, everyone wants to succeed, but some people do not make the right choice to be disciplined to do bits and bits daily. It becomes hard work you neither implement right nor market day after day.

To be successful, you must learn to be consistent. You must figure out what works for you. Great people do not set to work because they are inspired, but they become inspired because they are working. If you develop the habits of success, you will make success a habit.

To conclude; the more whys you have for pursuing your improvement on daily basis the more likely you will follow through. Start compiling those whys. Think of immediate benefits as well as long terms ones. Any reason to develop yourself is a good reason as long as it’s yours.
